These are some of the mostly commonly asked questions about our practice, the care we provide, and the direct primary care model.
Direct Primary Care is a healthcare model that restores the doctor-patient relationship by removing the insurance middleman. Instead of dealing with copays, deductibles, and complex insurance billing, you pay a straightforward monthly membership fee. This allows us to provide deeply personalized, unhurried care whenever you need it.
No. We believe in earning your trust every single month. There are no long-term contracts, and you can cancel your membership at any time with a 30-day written notice. Please note that if you choose to re-enroll in the future, a re-enrollment fee will apply.
No, we do not accept or bill health insurance. By remaining independent of insurance constraints, we can dedicate our time entirely to you rather than navigating administrative hurdles. This model ensures complete transparency with zero hidden fees or surprise medical bills.
Absolutely. In fact, most of our members have insurance. Your membership covers all the primary care and metabolic health services provided directly within our clinic. We highly recommend maintaining a high-deductible insurance plan or a health share package to cover outside expenses such as major hospitalizations, surgeries, or specialized specialist care.
While the cost of the actual prescriptions and labs isn't covered by the base monthly fee, our members receive exclusive access to our wholesale laboratory network and at-cost medications. This means we pass our discounted, direct-to-clinic pricing on medications and bloodwork directly to you without any retail markup, frequently saving members more than the cost of their monthly membership.
Our Luxury Wellness Suite features an advanced Red Light Therapy system and a Zero-Gravity Mechanical Massage setup designed to support nervous system down-regulation, cellular optimization, and systemic metabolic recovery. Depending on your membership tier, a set number of monthly sessions are fully included, and sessions can also be booked a la carte if you want additional recovery time.
In most cases, yes! Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are excellent ways to pay for your membership fees, clinical consultations, and wholesale laboratory tests using pre-tax dollars. We always recommend checking with your specific HSA/FSA administrator or tax professional to confirm your plan's guidelines, as we can easily provide you with itemized invoices or annual statements for your records.
Yes! While we do not bill insurance companies directly, we can easily provide you with a monthly or per-visit "superbill" (an itemized medical receipt with standard clinical and diagnostic codes). You can submit this document directly to your insurance company to seek direct out-of-network reimbursement or to have the costs applied toward your traditional insurance deductible.
